Utah Visit

We went to Utah in mid February. My oldest nephew was going through the temple for the first time in preparation for his mission. I really wanted to go because it is such a special time. Wyatt really wanted to go because he wanted to go sledding. As we were driving there he was really disappointed to see that there wasn't any snow. Friday night before he went to bed he wished for snow. Well the next morning we woke up to lots of snow!!! He was so excited and couldn't believe that his wish had come true. Both kids had a blast sledding.

Valentines Day!!!

So I didn't do anything special for valentines day. I guess I am really lame. I saw some friends pictures/blogs and they went all out. Maybe next year. I did dress Erika up in a red dress for church the Sunday before. Erika hates taking pictures and Wyatt is just a ham now.

Bubble Bath!!!

Bath Time!!!! Wyatt and Erika love bubble baths. To bad they make such a mess that they can't have them more!!! It is such fun for them though.

Happy Birthday Chris!!!

On the 31st Chris celebrated his 37th birthday. Man he is getting old!!! The kids had fun helping daddy open presents. Wyatt wanted to make him brownies instead of a cake. Chris started eating them before we could get the candles and pictures. Oh well at least he was enjoying them!!!

Target shooting with Dad

On Martin Luther King day we decided to take advantage of the beautiful weather and the fact that Wyatt was out of school, and go out shooting. This is something we love to do as a family. Wyatt brought his air soft gun and enjoyed shooting Chris's guns. Erika wanted to just sit in the truck most of the time. Wyatt is such a good shot!!! It amazes me how well he can shoot. I told Chris that when he gets older, we need to enter him in the competitions. Wyatt wasn't at his best that day. He ended up resting a lot and not enjoying it as he usually does. That night he ended up with a fever and when we took him to the doctors the next day, he had a terrible case of strep throat and scarlet fever!!! He was one sick little boy. Now we know why he wasn't his usual self!!!

The circus!!!!

In January we had the opportunity to attend a small circus. It was lots of fun. The kids enjoyed it and were able to ride an elephant!!! I remember riding an elephant as a kid at the Hogle zoo so i was really excited for my kids. When we checked out the website for the sircus it said the pre show was free. You could ride an elephant, a pony, get your picture with a snake, etc. NO WHERE did it say that those are extra $$$. So I thought cool. WRONG!!! It was $10 a person to ride the elephant. I had already promised my kids that they could do this. I couldn't back out on a promise so we went ahead and let them do this. I did make a complaint that they needed to change their website. It was a fun day.

New Trampoline!!!

Santa also blessed us with a trampoline this year. The kids were way excited. It was even better that my sister and her little family were able to come and visit us. I really enjoyed the time spent with my mom, brother and sister/family. The kids as usual had a BLAST. It was also nice to have extra help setting up the trampoline!!! I am excited for them to be able to go out and play on it. It really wears them out!!!

Christmas 2010

We had a GREAT Christmas this year. As usual the kids are REALLY spoiled. They had fun though. Erika loved her new little kitchen and baby nursery. It was a hit!!! Wyatt enjoyed getting his DS and camoflauge sleeping bad. Chris and Sabrina received a keyboard. Chris wants to learn to play the piano and Sabrina wants to relearn too!! It was a nice day and we really enjoyed the gifts!! Thanks Santa.

Christmas card

Every year we usually get our pictures done for the annual Christmas card. This year we ran out of time and tried to get them done but the wait was UNBELIEVABLE for the scheduled time. We will get them done but it wasn't in time for Christmas. I took the kids outside and took some. I think they turned out pretty cute. I didn't send out too many and if you didn't get one don't feel bad.

My birthday

Wyatt said I had to have cake for my birthday and of course he wanted it green. We didn't have enough candles for the actual amount of years but that is ok. I told Wyatt I wasn't having any more birthdays because I didn't want to get any older. He thought that was just silly and birthdays are really fun. Chris bought me a dozen roses for me. I loved it!!! He thinks flowers are a waste of money and never buys them so it was a great present to me.

Yo Gabba Gabba!!!

Erika loves the show YO Gabba Gabba. They were here in Las Vegas for a show and were doing a free meet and greet at the mall. I took both kids by myself and waited in line for about 1 1/2 hrs. Both kids were great and thought it was really fun. I hope so because waiting in line for that long and than the 2 minutes to get your picture taken was REALLY long for mama.
