Wyatt's riding a bike without Training Wheels

Wyatt decide that he wanted to try and learn to ride the bike without training wheels. Uncle AJ and daddy helped him. He did really great for his first time!!! He still needs lots of practice but he will get it. Chris decided he needed to see if he could show Wyatt. I think he might be a little to big for the bike!! The kids also decided to take some pictures. I thought they did a good job of the one of me. I never seem to have pictures because I am the one always taking them!!!

Dinosaurs, Hiking, and Rattlesnakes!!!!

While on vacation we went to the Prehistoric museum in Price, Utah. It is a little museum but FULL of interesting things. My nephew and niece love to go there. We also went on a hike with my younger brother AJ to see some dinosaur footprints and fossils. That was awesome!! It wasn't a really long hike but it was very HOT. The kids did great. We also went to what is called the San Rafael Swell. It is an area with lots of interesting things to do. We went on a little hike to a cave that was used to test explosives. The cave is now barred closed but the kids had fun being monkeys. the excitement there was a rattlesnake!!! My brother threw a rock at a lizard and was looking to see where it landed. He noticed a rattlesnake all coiled up in the bush that we had just walked by!! Chris always carries a gun with him and shot it. Wyatt kept the rattles. It was about 3 years old. I am just very glad that NO ONE was hurt. Snakes are a big part of that area and you really have to watch out. At least Chris is a good shot. The head was totally gone. There is also a huge pictograph/petroglyph area to see. It is really neat to have such a diverse area to grow up in. There is something to see or do in all directions from the town.

The Living Planet Aquarium

On the 4th day of our vacation we went to The Living Planet Aquarium. This place was so awesome!!! They had really cool exhibits, hands on things to touch and wonderful fish!!! The kids really enjoyed it and I did too. It was lots of fun.
