Hair Cut!!!

I cut my hair!!!! I have only ever cut it about 5 times in my life. I am going to donate it to Locks of Love again. Wyatt didn't like it. He told me it isn't beautiful anymore. I laughed and told him that it would grow back. It was getting to the point that it was to heavy to wear up. I always wear my hair up too. I am always hot so it just works out that way. People ask why I don't just have short hair if I wear it up and I just tell them because I love my long hair!!!

Memorial Day!!!

We celebrated memorial day by going to the Boulder City Veterans Park, going shooting, and having a fire in our back yard. I am very grateful to the veterans in my family that have served so that we could enjoy this day. I am also thankful to those who are serving our country now. Many take it for granted. I know that we fought for our freedoms and that the America we now enjoy would not be here save it for the hand of our Heavenly Father inspiring our fore fathers. The kids enjoyed the park. I think it has the best water area of all the parks we have been to. They are so silly now for the camera. They are either posing or making silly faces. Wyatt and Chris again were target shooting. Wyatt loves it!!! He is holding his finger up to show that he cut it on a can. Good thing it wasn't deep!!!I think the highlight of the day for him was building the fire in the back yard. We have an unfinished back yard so it was easy to dig a hole, place rocks around it, and make a fire pit. Wyatt keeps asking when do we get to do it again!!! Both he and Erika are such fire bugs!!!

Playing in the toy room

Can I just say how much I love having a toy room? Yes it gets very messy but it is so great that they have a place to play, can leave their toys and go to bed later!! Sometimes it gets so messy that they tend to bring it out but they have been realy good to play "In" there lately. It is also nice that they are playingtogether.

Square Dance

They have a tradition at Wyatt's school to have all of the kindergartners do a square dance. This has been going on for 52 years. It was so cute!!! They all practiced very hard and did a super job!!! Wyatt told me that his tummy hurt when he went out because there were so many people to watch them.

Park day

We are lucky that we live close to a park. It is even better that it has a small water area. The kids love it. We were waiting for a warm day without the wind to be able to go. The kids have fun running/rolling up and down the hills, playing on the playground, and running through the water area. I like how Chris is helping me to watch the kids too!!

Erika cut her hair

On May 11th Erika decided to cut her own hair!!!! I was so sad. I knew that she would do it though. That morning I had trimmed her bangs and kept telling her "Only Mommy". She saw where I keep the scissors and later that day decided she would so it herself. When it was quiet I called upstairs and asked what she was doing. She has been wanting to comb her own hair and will do this frequently. She replied that she was making her hair beautiful. Needless to say when she came down it wasn't so beautiful. Luckily she was interrupted or who knows what we would have had. I am glad that it will grow back but it was getting to where it was really cute to be able to do things with.

Dinosaur Diorama

Wyatt had to make a dinosaur diorama for his school homework. He really wanted a volcano. Chris helped him come up with how to build it. Wyatt drew and painted everything. I think he did a pretty good job.

Swinging!!!

Erika loves to swing. Anytime she can she will go in the back yard and try to swing. Wyatt was the same way at this age.

Utah Visit

We always go out and go shooting somewhere when we are in Utah. Wyatt is getting big enough that with Chris's help he is able to shoot his gun. He is a great shot too!!! It amazes us how well he does. I keep telling Chris that we need to put Wyatt in some type of sharp shooting contest when he is older.
