Gotta Love Vegas Weather!!!

Wyatt found a water toy at a thrift store and thought he needed to try it out. Luckily the weather in Vegas allows you to still play outside in the middle of October. Erika wasn't to keen on it but they did have fun.

Busy Life

We have had a really couple of busy weeks. We have been trying to finish all of the remodeling projects before Chris had back surgery. We did it!!!! Now the projects are ready to paint. Chris had back surgery on the 22nd. He is recovering nicely. It has been long for me though. The night we brought him home from the hospital, Wyatt had a stomach bug. Not fun to take care of a sick kid, a recovering patient and a baby that cries all the time. I survived though. My wonderful little brother came for a short visit. He helped me finish painting my living room with the vaulted ceilings. Thanks A.J.!!!! Hopefully this next week will be a little better.

Funny things kids say!!!

We have had a problem with Wyatt taking his dog to the neighbors and "forgetting" to bring her back. So we decided to tell him that he couldn't take her anymore. Well she got out and we did eventually find her. Chris was teasing and asking Wyatt if we should sell the dog or hew could get 10 butt spanks. Wyatt's answer was to keep maddie but give her 10 butt spanks. We thought it was pretty funny. We just reminded him that he has to really watch his dog because she could get taken or hurt in the road. I've already had one person try to pick her up!!! Good thing we were watching.

So Tired!!!

We have been busy finishing up some more house repairs before Chris has back surgery again. The kids have been really good to just entertain themselves. I set them in the chair to get something before bed and came back and found them like this. Wyatt still had his hand stuck in the corn pops box.

Wyatt's first day of preschool!!!

Wyatt is again attending the preschool at the elementary school where he receives help with his speech. It is such a great opportunity for him to be able to attend and get the help he needs. He has progressed so much. He was really excited and didn't want to stand for pictures (Can you imagine that?) The second day he rode the bus but he was out the door and already on the bus before I could even get to the sidewalk!!!

Erika's Birthday Celebration!!

We decide to celebrate Erika's birthday while we were in Utah. We had a pizza bowling party and everyone had a good time. She is such a cutie!! (I'm not biased at all)

Vacation Again!!!

We had a great vacation time again. We went back to Joe's Valley in Utah for a week. The kids seemed to have a great time. Erika fell and crashed into a rock or tree branch the first day and ended up with her first black eye. It was really terrible looking but she seemed to get over falling pretty quick. Again we caught lots of fish, had a great time relaxing with family, and enjoyed using our trailer. At least I did when I needed to give the kids a bath after playing in the dirt. I must say I enjoyed the quick 5 min shower myself.

House repairs

We have been busy doing house repairs, Again!!! I am so thankful that Chris is able to figure out how to do things. We were able to replace the toy room floor with Pergo laminate flooring. I absolutely love it!!!! I can't wait until we have the whole house done. The kids have been a little cranky because everything is such a mess but they are good little troopers.

Kids are so fun!!

Wyatt and Erika are finally getting the whole play together thing. It is nice and not so nice in some ways. I think they are pretty cute. Wyatt thinks its fun to tie his camo on Erika and make her a pirate!!!

Erika Birthday

So I am late again on posting pictures. We had a quiet celebration for Erika on her first birthday. We will be celebrating with all our family in August for the eating cake thing. I still have a hard time believing that she is a year all ready. How sad!!!

Happy 1st Birthday Erika

It is really hard to believe that a full year has gone by. Time has just really flown by. We have had our ups and downs but we wouldn't trade it for anything. Well maybe the whole crying all the time thing but other than that!!! Erika is getting so big now. She is walking and into everything. Before long she will be talking and become her own little person.
