Crazy Hair!!!

So Erika has REALLY curly hair. It is long enough to put into little piggy braids and will usually stay for a little while. She also has great bed head hair!!! I can't wait for Christmas!!! Anyway, this is what she looked like during the day and what she woke up with after we had taken her braids out. I promise I did not do anything to make it look like this. She literally had just walked downstairs!!!

Riding bikes with Grandma

While Wyatt was at school, Erika decided to ride bikes with Grandma. Erika loves to ride her tricycle anytime she can so she thinks this is great. She is getting to be such a big girl!!!

Aviation Nation!!!!

We had a great time at Aviation Nation this year. it is the airshow that is performed on Nellis Air force Base. Wyatt thinks it's great!!! It does take a lOONNGGG time to get on the base but it is well worth it. Wyatt's favorite part, of course, was the guns!!! He thought it was great that he was able to "play" with them. Erika had a good time too. Wyatt was the photographer for some of the pictures. I thought he did preety good. As usual, Chris had to work so it was just me and the kids. It was lots of fun though.

Visit from Grandma

Chris's mom came for a visit. She always makes us something to eat. This time she made a HUGE cupcake. It took three cake mixes to make this thing!!! Erika had a great time helping grandma. Wyatt didn't want to help this time.

Halloween costumes

This year Wyatt wanted to be a bat. I was very excited that he finally wanted to be something different but wasn't sure where I would find a costume. He was very insistant that he was a nice bat NOT a vampire bat. Luckily I found a costume at Deseret Industries that came to the rescue!!! i used the body part for Erika's spider costume. I wanted to have the legs be out more but I stuffed them to much to be able to stick a wire in it. I think it turned out ok. She wasn't to happy to wear it but we did make it through the trunk or treat. We had fun and can't wait to take them trick or treating!!!!

Carving pumkins

We had fun carving pumpkins this year. Wyatt was almost able to carve his own. Daddy helped Erika. She mostly wanted to draw on the pumpkins!!! She also decided to taste the pumpkin. She didn't think it tasted to great.

Fall School Carnival and Costume Parade

Wyatt trying to eat a donut on a string. Erika playing the fish game. Wyatt's costume parade. What a cute bat he makes!!!

Wyatt's First Stitches!!!

Wyatt had to get 3 staples today. After playing at the park, we decided to go to the store and get some groceries. I had locked my purse in the trunk at the park. When we were getting ready to go into the store, I had Erika on one side and swung my purse on the other. Wyatt decided he needed something out of the trunk and I didn't see him. I slammed the lid down and he was in the way. It's lucky it wasn't fingers because I am sure they would have been chopped off!!! He cried hard but really started crying when he saw all the blood. We went to urgent care and they decided on using staples because it would be less painful. He did really well. He is up and running like normal. Mommy just feels really bad. At least he will always have a story to tell!!

Making Halloween Decorations

This year i found some decorations that the kids could help paint. they had a blast. Erika really liked to use the glittery stickers. Wyatt liked the glitter glue. It is so much fun to do this with my kids. I hope that we can always have this much fun!!!

Lagoon again!!!

We went to Lagoon again when we went to Utah. The kids had a blast!!! Erika decided that it wasn't so fun to go on the rides this time. I guess she just knew what to expect and wasn't thrilled. Wyatt had a great time and LOVES the rides. He especially had a great time because he was with cousins this time.

Erika can ride a tricycle!!!

Erika has figured out how to ride her tricycle. It took Wyatt FOREVER to figure this out. She thinks it is the greatest thing. She zooms everywhere now!!! Her hair does get combed but it was after nap time when I took these pictures.

The fruits of your labor

So when we went to Utah at the end of September, we canned tomato juice and brought home some peaches. Boy they sure tasted good. Ii made homemade jam and was pleased to be able to put up about 16 pints/half paints. It is a lot of work but super yummy!!!!
