Wyatt's First Stitches!!!

Wyatt had to get 3 staples today. After playing at the park, we decided to go to the store and get some groceries. I had locked my purse in the trunk at the park. When we were getting ready to go into the store, I had Erika on one side and swung my purse on the other. Wyatt decided he needed something out of the trunk and I didn't see him. I slammed the lid down and he was in the way. It's lucky it wasn't fingers because I am sure they would have been chopped off!!! He cried hard but really started crying when he saw all the blood. We went to urgent care and they decided on using staples because it would be less painful. He did really well. He is up and running like normal. Mommy just feels really bad. At least he will always have a story to tell!!

Making Halloween Decorations

This year i found some decorations that the kids could help paint. they had a blast. Erika really liked to use the glittery stickers. Wyatt liked the glitter glue. It is so much fun to do this with my kids. I hope that we can always have this much fun!!!

Lagoon again!!!

We went to Lagoon again when we went to Utah. The kids had a blast!!! Erika decided that it wasn't so fun to go on the rides this time. I guess she just knew what to expect and wasn't thrilled. Wyatt had a great time and LOVES the rides. He especially had a great time because he was with cousins this time.

Erika can ride a tricycle!!!

Erika has figured out how to ride her tricycle. It took Wyatt FOREVER to figure this out. She thinks it is the greatest thing. She zooms everywhere now!!! Her hair does get combed but it was after nap time when I took these pictures.

The fruits of your labor

So when we went to Utah at the end of September, we canned tomato juice and brought home some peaches. Boy they sure tasted good. Ii made homemade jam and was pleased to be able to put up about 16 pints/half paints. It is a lot of work but super yummy!!!!

Fisrt Day of Kindergerten

Wyatt started Kindergarten yesterday. He was not to excited to go. I think he a was a little nervous. I know I was. It was a little sad to see him go. It is just hard to believe that he is big enough to go to school. He attends all day and it seems really long for mommy!!! He came home and said that he didn't like school and didn't want to go anymore. I think it was because he was warned a few times to quit playing with his hands and didn't. Hopefully it will get better for him.

Lagoon

We decided to take the kids to lagoon this year. We had an absolute BLAST!!!! We are going to try and take the kids again next year. My little brother and Mom were able to come with us. It was a lot of fun. I hadn't been to lagoon in about 10 years or so. Wyatt was really big and even rode some of the big rides. I was very impressed with him. He didn't cry or anything. He wanted to ride them again!!! I was even brave and rode the rocket with my brother. He said it was the best scream ever. I did have to sit down for a minute afterwards. I have never been one to do very well on the rides. They make me pretty sick. It was fun though. I loved seeing the kids have fun.

vacation part 2

We had a great week camping again. It was defineately colder this time. It was really nice though. the kids had a blast as usual. Wyatt really turned into a great fisherman. He was able to cast the pole out by himself. He would cast out than catch one almost immediately. Erika wanted to hold the fish forever!!! Chris's mom, Shirley, was able to come up for a few days. She caught one of the biggest trouts I have seen in a long time. It was 20 inched and about 4-5 lbs. It was great!!! As usual the kids loved riding the 4 wheeler and playing around. They loved the trees by our camp because they could 'climb' them like monkeys!!! We always enjoy our vacations and can't wait to go next year.
