Hogle Zoo

On the third day of our vacation we went to Hogle Zoo with my other sister. We hadn't been to the zoo in Utah in ages. I think Chris and I were both little kids the last time we had been there. It was a nice visit. It ended up being REALLY HOT!!! I think the kids enjoyed it and seemed to have fun. The zoo had just added all these lifelike dinosaurs throughout the park. Erika was petrified of them!!! She didn't want anything to do with them. Some of them would squirt water at you. That felt really nice since it was so hot. We had a fun visit with my sisters kids and enjoyed the animals. The baby elephant was super cute. Of course my favorite animal is the gorilla. They were all sleeping!!! We will have to try and make it to the zoo more often!!

Lagoon 2011

We spent the second day of our vacation going to lagoon. We had a blast!!! There were only a few rides that Erika would ride this year. I guess she has finally developed fear. It's ok though because that meant that Daddy had to go on all the rides with Wyatt!!! It was great. Wyatt pretty much rode ever ride that he could. He rode the tilt-a-Whirl at least 5 times. Some of those in a row!! I would have thrown up. We had a great day and were able to spend it with my sister and her kids. I think going to lagoon is going to be a yearly tradition now.

Wave Pool!!!

The first day of our vacation we went swimming at the wave pool in our hometown. Either I am getting old or the waves are a lot stronger!! The kids had a blast and can't wait to go again. I explained to Wyatt that the waves were trying to imitate the ocean only without the sand!! They did pretty good an no one ended up drowned.

Happy Anniversary

On June 14th we celebrated 14 years of marriage. My how time flies!!! We didn't do anything spectacular since we knew we were going to be going on vacation the next week. We never really do anything spectacular but that is ok. I would rather have little gifts and fun throughout the year then expect to have something big and not always wonderful on the one day. I hope we can have another great 14 years and longer!!!

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's day a little early this year since we were going to be in Utah. The kids picked out some tools for Daddy and Wyatt picked out the card. He thought it was great. I don't remember the exact wording on the card but when you opened it up it said "I am your father". Wyatt liked it because it had Darth Vader on it and he knows that Chris likes star wars.

Silly Kids

Sometimes my kids will make the silliest faces. I usually forget to pull the camera out. I have really trying to be better about it. They are growing up and changing so fast. I love to see how they have changed and wish that I would have taken more.

Erika falls asleep in the strangest places!!!

I have found Erika asleep in the craziest places lately!!! This time she was under our bed. Why I have no idea. She always had to hold her belly button to go to sleep. She even found a binki (which has since disappeared)!!!

Wyatt Finished Kindergarten

Wyatt finished Kindergarten this year on June 9th. I can't believe that he is so big now!!! He received an award for science, finishing the 100 words and the advanced word list, and for handing all his homework in. He has begun reading and loves to try and sound everything out. On the last day he and his dad rode their bikes to school. He thought it was fun but way to far!!! I agree. It is only about 1.5 miles but it is such a busy rode that I don't think he will ever do it on his own!!! He did such and awesome job and we are so proud of him. Now on to first grade!!!
