Family Reunion

All of us!!! We had the first ever reunion of just my siblings. We went to Huntington lake and had a good Dutch oven meal.. The kids played in the water, caught crawdads, and had a great time. It was hot but not nearly as hot as Vegas!!! Hopefully we will be able to continue this tradition. We have always done it on my mother's side and I know that I have a lot of fond memories of our reunions. I want to be able to continue that tradition with my kids and their cousins.

Vacation Part 1

Chris and his "whale" he caught. This was the biggest fish we pulled out. It must have been pretty tough because it had 4 other lines in it, one with a bubble attached. He lost one other one that was about the same size. He is determined to catch it the next time.

Erika the pop monster!!! She would steal anyone's pop and literally guzzle it down. She drank so much that I was afraid she would be so hyper but nope, she was just normal.

We went on our annual camping trip to Joe's Valley. It was a lot of fun as usual. The kids loved it and can't wait to go again. Luckily we will be going again in about 2 weeks. The kids had a great time playing with their cousins, fishing, and getting dirty. I am so thankful that we have a trailer to sleep and wash in!!!

4th of July

We had a nice 4th of July. We were able to do a few fireworks at our house and then go watch the ones that were put on by the city. Wyatt had an absolute blast!!! Erika hated everything. We did get her to hold a little sparkler but that was it. She spent most of the night inside the house.

Father's Day

We had a great Father's Day this year. Wyatt found a great gift for Chris. They both LOVE flashlights. Wyatt found a package that had about 15 lights in it. He thought it was great. They also found a card that played a message, they played it over and over. It was a nice relaxing day.

Family Visits

Since I have the "cool" house now j/k, we always love it when family comes for a visit. We mostly hung out by the pool and enjoyed ourselves. The kids had a blast playing together and couldn't get enough of swimming.

13 years together

On June 14th of this year we celebrated thirteen years of marriage. I am so thankful that I have been given the chance to share my life with Chris. He isn't always the easiest person to get a long with but deep down he is really a big teddy bear. We didn't do much in the celebrating area. We did get a freezer though!!! I am very thankful that we have had the opportunity to be sealed together as a couple and bring two wonderful kids into this world.

Finally the floor is done!!!

We have been working really hard on the house again. We have finally finished our wood floors. I LOVE THEM!!! We have pretty much totally redone the entire basement. The stairs are almost done. We have the hand rail to sand, re-stain and then put back up. We still have to do the stairs going up but that is for another time. I am so thankful for a husband who is willing to work every weekend on getting this house into shape. He really out does himself on many things. The kids are enjoying the floors too. They love to run and push their toys around. sometimes they slip and slide because they are going so fast. Our allergies have really improved too. They are not nearly as bad as they were.

Wyatt's Prescool Graduation

Wyatt graduated preschool on June 1st. It was a very casual get together but the kids had a great time. Wyatt received a little diploma and an award for being the best builder. He loved to try and build all sorts of things with the Lego's and blocks. His teacher was very impressed with what he could build. I am so thankful for this program that he was able to attend. He started going when he was 3 because of his speech. You would never really know that he ever had a problem. He is a totally different kid and has progressed so much. His teacher Ms. Macaulay was the greatest. The kids really loved her and her assistant Mrs. Glenda. Wyatt was sad to go but happy that he will be a big kindergartner now.

Water day at school

Every year the preschool is able to have a water day at school for their monthly activity. The kids love it!!! They had a great time and thought it was really fun to squirt their teacher. Erika just jumped right in as if she was one of the big kids. They had a little slip 'n slide and Wyatt was the only one brave enough to go first.

Wyatt Soccer

Wyatt was an excellent soccer player this year. He really progressed as he went through the season. He is really glad that it is over. We are hoping that he will want to continue with it but so far the answer is no. They had a great end of season party. We were all invited to one of the players home to have a pizza and swim party. They received trophy's. Wyatt thinks his is great.

Easter

I know, I know, I am sooo late. We have been really busy around here. I thought I would post a few anyway. We had a great visit from my sister and her family. The kids had a great time playing together. Unfortunately, most of the pictures didn't work out. Erika was being a big stinker for their Easter Sunday pictures too!!
